Derwent Skiff 5.5m - Plans
The LINES PLAN is supplied at 1/10 scale. The remaining 6 sheets are full size to make your job easier. For example, when making the foot stretcher, simply lay key parts on the plan, apply glue, add weights, check that the parts have not slipped away from their place as defined by the plan and that is it. These parts are then ready for further assembly and accurate to plan with no jigs or measuring. The price includes courier or postal delivery within Australia. For international express courier or express postal delivery a fee of AU$ 32 (US$ 30) will be added automatically once you enter a country delivery address other than Australia. Click on the thumbnail images below the main image and you will be able to see them enlarged. The ply kit plus the mold and the jigs, that are supplied as part of the mold, mean that there is little building that necessitates reference to the plans. Where the plans are necessary is with reference to the full size drawings of components such as the stern, skeg and stretcher. The plan of the stretcher is used to layout the parts accurately while they are glued.
