We are committed to safeguarding your privacy.  We do not disclose your details to anyone other than your order and delivery address to the specialised firms who ship directly on our behalf to save double handling.

Also, we do not send you marketing material unless you choose to receive it and you can opt out easily at any time.  Further, our news releases such as for new products, are irregular and infrequent. 

Your warranty record, and data base in general, is maintained by us.

Security

We take your security very seriously so that this site is served to you from the secure Stores On Line server.  

You can safely purchase online using MasterCard and Visa credit cards or a Paypal account.  Online payments are processed by Paypal to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and technological sophistication.  We don't have any access to your card details.  

Alternatively, you are welcome to use cheque or direct deposit payments.  For cheque payment, simply place your order by email, phone or fax and post a cheque.  For direct deposit, contact us (or mention it on your order) and we will supply banking details.

Please always remember that you are most welcome to discuss your requirements and this will also give you a sense of who we are.  We will be delighted to hear from you. 

Returns and Refunds

The policy we use for furniture is:  You are free to return your purchase and receive a full refund provided you advise us and post or ship within 7 days.  You will need to repack with the same care (preferably using the original packaging) and pay for the return postage or freight.

Furniture items are usually flat pack and go by registered and insured postage.  A whole kit boat is rather different, as you cannot unpack it and with a 15 minute assembly have your finished product!  Consequently, it is the guarantee that becomes important.  If there are faulty parts, it would be reasonable to document the fault with a digital image and send it to us.  We can then supply a replacement part.  For distant customers, the value in sending the part back is minimal unless being able to analyse the fault was critical to quality control.

Guarantee

We guarantee that the plywood kit parts fit the mold, assuming that the mold has been accurately leveled.  The scarfed planks are joined on the boat rather than in a full length and then applied to the boat.  This procedure avoids allignment issues.  Further, the mold has been designed with closely spaced stations and stringers so that no special skills are required to ensure that joints between planks are reliably accurate.

In this process, we have endeavoured to make it easy for you to achieve a very professional build.  However, we do not have any control over this process.  We remain available for advice if you have any queries along the way.
